NEWS FLASH

Spanish flag carrier Iberia will extend its seasonal flights between Madrid and Zagreb by a month into November. The service, which resumed on April 5, was initially to run until October 25, but will now continue until November 29. Flights in November will operate twice per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with the Airbus A320 aircraft. The decision comes in the same year Croatia Airlines launches its seasonal flights between the two capitals, which are due to commence in July. Iberia handled 54.908 passengers on its Madrid - Zagreb service in 2024, registering an average cabin load factor of 89% for the duration of last year’s operations.

They already flew year round operations before covid, so probably they will reintroduce it again next winter.
