NEWS FLASH
Ryanair will increase frequencies on its routes from Poland to Montenegro next summer, all of which will compete against Wizz Air. Last week, Ryanair announced a new service between Poznan and Podgorica. The airline will now double frequencies from both Wroclaw and Gdansk to the Montenegrin capital, from two to four weekly starting in June when Wizz Air commences operations on both routes. Ryanair will operate its Wroclaw and Gdansk flights on exactly the same days as Wizz Air.

Tirana effect coming?
ReplyDeleteNot even close as Ryanair's network in Podgorica is miniscule.
DeleteWhat does that have to do with Tirana?
DeleteWhat do u mean by Tirana effect? In Tirana there is demand for both carriers to operate same routes a few times per day. For example both lccs have good LF and yields on their flights to Treviso, Bergamo, Rome
DeleteIt had to do a lot with Tirana. Actually, it won’t, because Montenegrins will not have to go to Albania to catch cheap flights
DeleteThen you dont know how to write it if what you mean is Tirana affected. Yes with this TIA will he affected by FR and W6 in TGD, but there is no TIA effect happening in TGD cuz u are comparing two different markets.
DeleteGo Wizz Air 💪
ReplyDeleteGo ryanair!
DeleteThis time, Wizz all the way
DeleteWith these two going at it hammer and tongs it can only end in disaster. TGD is a minuscule playground to fight on.
ReplyDeleteLOL, no!
DeleteOnly here you can read how the 2 largest LCCs in Europe opening a base and increasing flights is a bad thing.
DeleteRyanair is not opening a base in Podgorica. Get your facts straight.
Delete''The 2 largest LCCs in Europe''. Get your reading comprehension straight.
DeleteYes, the two largest LCCs in Europe are Ryanair and Wizz Air. And Ryanair is not opening a base in Montenegro.
DeleteJesus 🤦♂️
Delete14:59, Wizz Air is not second biggest LCC in Europe, it is easyJet.
DeleteBravo!
ReplyDeleteInteresting that they are not doing this in TIV - which would be much more sustainable
ReplyDeleteTIV is seasonal while TGD is a year round destination.
DeleteThat's completely irrelevant as these Polish flights are seasonal.
DeleteI am not so sure how market like this one will handle the same routes, same days with two big low cost carriers , even in summer ... scenario like this could be handled by bigger airports but in this case we talk about airport who cannot handle 200k passengers in a single month with a sea on its land...
