Zagreb Airport registers busiest November on record

NEWS FLASH


Zagreb Airport has seen another month of growth by registering a record 340.201 passengers in November, representing a 7.8% year-on-year increase. The figure was achieved despite the number of aircraft movements declining 1.5% to 3.804. The airport has now surpassed its 2024 end-of-year result by handling 4.386.580 travellers during the January - November period, up 9.7% or an additional 388.974 customers. Growth is expected to continue into December, with scheduled seat capacity currently up 10.7%, topping off the airport’s busiest year on record.

      But that's a disaster. 22% increase in capacity and just 9% increase for airport total. it means either foreign carriers really underperformed which I doubt or OU is flying empty, which is highley likely. So it's not impressive at all.

    Very impressive for November, which along with February has been the worst performing month forever.
    The final result for 2025. should be some 4.75 - 4.8 million, meaning next year ZAG is surpassing 5 million...so MZLZ should expand the new terminal, probably by adding extending and/or adding on a mew concourse.
