NEWS FLASH
Air Serbia has scheduled and put on sale tickets between Belgrade and Tromso, which it announced last month. The new route will commence on December 14 and operate twice per week, on Mondays and Fridays, with the Airbus A319 aircraft. Further flight details can be viewed here. Tromso will become Air Serbia’s second destination in Norway, complementing its existing service to Oslo. It is one of seven new routes the carrier is launching this year and will also mark its northernmost destination.

Nice :) At least no one can say they didn't schedule the flights long enough in advance :D
ReplyDeleteSo many new flights on Mondays on Fridays, seems like a very tight schedule
ReplyDeleteThose are busiest days in aviation, including Sunday. But that means there’s a lot unused capacity on other days in a week
DeleteOne of the most interesting routes. Is this only for tourists or we have and diaspora in these parts of Norway?
ReplyDeleteTourists. I believe it will be winter seasonal
DeleteThere is no diapora to speak of. This is for tourism.
DeleteSerbs have been the biggest group of work immigrants to Norway from outside EU the last ten years, also a lot of Bosnians live in Northern Norway, and they fly via Belgrade when they visit Bosnia. All in all, I think Serbs and Bosnians make out between 50 000 and 60 000 people in Norway and the number is increasing by a couple of thousand per year.
DeleteIdemo dalje...
ReplyDeleteA very bold route. I have my doubts it'll work, but lets hope!
ReplyDeleteCool destination! Maybe if A319 can't sustain it , the Embraer would do very well! What is the flying time? 3.5hr??
DeleteAccording to the linked schedule, 3 hours 55 minutes.
DeleteThank you!
DeleteInteresting destination for winter 2026/27, a place that if opportunity arises I would visit.
ReplyDeleteReally nice addition! Super cool destination.
ReplyDeleteI think OU might launch Sanderfjord as a reaction to this.
ReplyDeleteWhat's OU?
