NEWS FLASH
Air Serbia is further extending its seasonal operations between Belgrade and Palermo this summer. After initially scheduling the resumption of the route two months earlier than last year, from April 15 instead of June 7, the carrier will now maintain services until October 24, compared to October 4 in 2025.
In addition, capacity will be increased, with around 50% of flights planned on the Airbus A320, while the remaining services will be operated by the A319 and Embraer E195. Last year, the route was exclusively served by the latter two aircraft types.
The expansion comes as Wizz Air prepares to launch competing flights on March 31. Air Serbia will continue to operate two weekly rotations, while Wizz Air plans three weekly services using the A321neo.
